California Brake Inspection As Per the DVM Standards

Many people want to save and keep their salvaged vehicles and need a California Brake Inspection. Brakes of a vehicle are one of the important aspects while driving and it should be properly maintained.

The California State requires a Brake Inspection to make sure that any vehicle being issued a salvage certificate: car, van, truck, heavy-duty, RV, or motorcycle is in a safe and roadworthy condition before being retitled.

As a DMV(Department of Motor Vehicles)certified, state-licensed Brake Inspection station, Smog-Latino conducts a thorough and complete examination of your vehicle's braking system to make sure that no defects exist that could cause the braking system to not operate properly or even fail.

The DMV( Department of Motor Vehicles) also requires an Official California Brake Inspection on most vehicles brought in from out of the state and vehicles not registered in the past 5 years or to correct a defect cited by a local or state law enforcement agency.

Once the Brake Inspection is successfully completed our Smog-Latino Brake Inspection team issues a certificate to you that you can to present to the DMV or California Highway Patrol as proof of correction of any defect detected as well as the safety of the vehicle and the driver.
